The community of Sandy, Utah has a beautiful new place to play, and a recreation experience fitting the name of the location: Big Bear Park. Designed by Great Western Recreation, GameTime's exclusive representative in Utah, along with GameTime's PlayWorx artists, the new play area includes themed bear climbers, massive nets that look stunning against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains and tons of spinning, climbing and sliding activities!

GameTime's large climbing nets at Big Bear Park accommodate users of all ages for multigenerational fun!

The new playspace was made possible through a parks and recreation bond from Salt Lake County which allowed for new playground equipment, surfacing, swings and benches. The playground is part of a 15-acre complex of pavilions, walking trails, sports fields and other amenities for families. It's one of many parks refreshed by the bond funds, and it offers plenty of thrilling activities, as well as therapeutic options for people of all abilities.

Play activities at Big Bear Park include ShadowPlay TriRunner - a thrilling overhead spinner that casts colorful shadows on the ground

GameTime also included a set of Expression Swings for parents and children to play together. Expression Swing is the industry's first and patented face-to-face, eye-to-eye swing that promotes emotional bonding and social interaction during play. Big Bear Park has the standard model for adults and children ages 2 to 4, as well as Expression Swing Universal with an adaptive seat for people who need additional support.
